Äthiopien ist alt; alt jenseits der Vorstellungskraft – bis zur Entstehung der Menschheit. Es ist auch das Land der Königin von Saba, ein Ort legendärer Regenten, fabelhafter Königreiche und altertümlicher Geschichte. Die historische Route umfasst einige der bemerkenswertesten Sehenswürdigkeiten, unter denen vier von der UNESCO als Weltkulturerbe anerkannt wurden.
Staunen Sie über die 2000 Jahre alten Stelen von Axum, die berühmten Felsenkirchen von Lalibela aus dem 12.Jahrhundert, die Schlösser von Gondar, die Inselklöster im Tana See, den Blauen Nil-Fall und nicht zuletzt über die überwältigenden Semien Berge.

Itinerary
Day 1: Addis Ababa
Arrive in Addis Ababa. Welcome to Ethiopia! For the rest of the day, take a city tour of Addis Ababa that will include the view from Mount Entoto, the National Museum, the Ethnographic Museum, Trinity Church, and the Mercato.
Overnight: Hotel in Addis Ababa
Day 2: Addis Ababa, Jimma
After breakfast, head southwest to Jimma enroute visiting the coffee growing area of Ethiopia and the Gurage villages.

Day 3: Jimma, Mizan
In the morning, we drive to Mizan enroute visiting different tribal villages like the Yem and Keficho tribal villages.

Day 4: Mizan, Kibish
After breakfast, we drive to Kibish enroute enjoying the stunning view that unfolds in front of us every minute of our drive. On our drive from Mizan to Kibish, we will stop at different tribal villages including the Diz and Minit.
Overnight: Camping in Kibish
Day 5: Kibish, Surma
We will have a full day in Kibish to visit the Surma tribe and their villages. The Surma are found on the west bank of the Omo. Like their cousins on the other bank of the Omo River, they do body painting and the women wear lip plates.

Day 6: Kibish, Omo National Park
Today, we drive to Omo National Park and have an afternoon game drive in the national park. Here you will have an opportunity to see unspoiled wilderness of the Omo National Park.

Day 7: Full Day in the Omo National Park
We have a full day exploring the Omo National Park. Here we can expect to see some of Africa’s big mammals including buffalo and elephants.

Day 8: Omo, Kibish
In the morning, we will drive to Kibish enroute enjoying the stunning views of Kibish area and visiting different tribal villages. If possible, we will witness their seasonal rituals, dance, and Donga stick fighting.
Day 9: Kibish, Mizan
In the morning, we drive back to Mizan enroute visiting different coffee farms and tribal villages.
Day 10: Mizan, Jimma
Today we drive from Mizan to Jimma. For the rest of the day, we will take a city tour of Jimma including the palace of Aba Jifar and the Jimma market.
Day 11: Jimma, Addis Ababa
After breakfast, we drive to Addis Ababa enroute visiting the beautiful Wonchi Crater Lake and Suba Forest.
In the evening, there will be a complimentary Ethiopian traditional dinner with folkloric tribal dances. After the farwell dinner, transfer to Addis Ababa airport for the flight back. End of tour.
